Congratulates Bunker Hill Elementary School on its centennial anniversary celebration.

School was named for its hilltop location in Franklin Township to demonstrate patriotism during World War I and continue Enlightenment ideals.

Original two-story brick building constructed with six classrooms, furnace room, boys' shop, girls' domestic room, science room, play room, and assembly room with stage; students moved to larger building completed in 1962.

School's famous Annual Fish Fry event began in 1932 and ran for over 50 years; will be revived April 27, 2018 to celebrate the 100th anniversary with recognition of former and new Fish Fry royalty.

Secretary of the Senate directed to transmit resolution copies to Dr. Kent Pettet (Principal), Dr. Bruce Hibbard (Superintendent), and Mr. Scott Sullivan (School Board President).
