Honors Rebecca Walker Mortell for more than three decades of dedicated service to the Indiana General Assembly and its citizens upon her retirement from the Legislative Services Agency.

Recognizes her career beginning as a drafting attorney in the Office of Bill Drafting and Research, where she drafted legislation and provided committee staff support.

Acknowledges her service as Deputy Director of the Office of Code Revision for more than 20 years, leading the office through legislative sessions and Indiana Code publication projects including recodification efforts.

Credits her knowledge of state law and attention to detail as key factors in making the Indiana Code one of the nation's best organized and most accessible legal codes.

Directs the Secretary of the Senate to transmit copies of the resolution to Rebecca Walker Mortell and her family.
