Honors John Joseph Stieff on his retirement as Director of the Office of Code Revision, Indiana Legislative Services Agency.

Stieff earned a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science with Distinction (Phi Beta Kappa) from Indiana University in 1973 and a Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1977.

Began as a staff attorney for the Legislative Council in 1977, worked in the Office of Bill Drafting and Research, and joined the Office of Code Revision in 1989, serving as Director since 1993.

Led implementation of in-house publication of the Indiana Code, Acts of Indiana, and printed bills, saving taxpayers millions of dollars since 1999, and was elected to life membership on the Uniform Law Commission.

Indiana General Assembly thanks Stieff for his dedicated service and directs the Secretary of the Senate to transmit copies of the resolution to him and his family.
