Served as STEM director at Paramount School of Excellence in Indianapolis, where she developed a robotics program that won multiple state titles and competed in world competitions

Diagnosed with stage 1B2 cervical cancer at age 27 in 2012 and deemed incurable after three years of treatment

Dedicated her final years to HPV awareness and cervical cancer prevention as a Cervivor Ambassador, American Cancer Society volunteer, and recipient of the Indiana Immunization Coalition HPV Champion Award

Directs the Principal Clerk to transmit a copy of the resolution to her family expressing sympathy and recognition of her achievements
