Indiana General Assembly honors the 50th anniversary of Otwell High School Millers' 1969 Washington Sectional basketball championship, won on March 1, 1969 by defeating North Daviess Cougars 80-77

Team was coached by Howard "Andy" Anderson (head coach) and Richard Helton (assistant), with Otwell having only 148 students yet defeating much larger schools before class basketball existed in Indiana

Millers won three tournament games: 82-66 over Washington Hatchets, 54-39 over Barr Reeve Vikings, and 80-77 over North Daviess in the championship

Championship was the only sectional title in school history before Otwell High School closed in 1974 to consolidate with Pike Central High School

Secretary of the Senate directed to transmit copies of the resolution to each team member, coach, and manager of the 1969 team
