Indiana General Assembly formally recognizes Karen Vaughn for her advocacy work on behalf of people with disabilities

Karen Vaughn, age 60, has been a quadriplegic since age 18 due to a spinal cord injury and has independently managed her own business and consulting services throughout her adult life

Vaughn has advised persons with disabilities of all ages on maintaining independence in their homes and managing their health care needs

Vaughn has testified at state administrative and legislative committee hearings on long-term care issues and disability rights

Secretary of the Senate is directed to transmit a copy of the resolution to Karen Vaughn
