Senate Resolution honors Senator Mike Delph upon his retirement after serving Senate District 29 (parts of Boone, Hamilton, and Marion counties) since his election in 2005

Championed veterans legislation including establishing the Military Family Relief Fund, expanding state contracts with veteran-owned small businesses, and extending a pilot program for PTSD medical relief

Received multiple awards including the American Legion Distinguished Public Service Award (2006, 2013), Sagamore of the Wabash (2005, 2016), and Indiana Family Institute Legislator of the Year (2014)

Directs the Secretary of the Senate to transmit a copy of the resolution to Senator Delph and his family
