Cleveland, born in Henryville in 1980, is a graduate of the Kentucky School for the Blind who began performing professionally and released his first solo album "Sawing on the C String" in 1998

Recognizes Cleveland's extensive career achievements including 12 IBMA Fiddle Player of the Year Awards, 6 IBMA Instrumental Recording of the Year Awards, and 6 IBMA Instrumental Group of the Year Awards with his band Flamekeeper

Notes Cleveland has performed with bluegrass legends including Bill Monroe, Ralph Stanley, Doyle Lawson, Allison Krauss, and Vince Gill, as well as appearances at the Grand Ole Opry and before the U.S. Congress
