Indiana General Assembly formally recognizes Matthew Clifford, Principal of Greensburg Junior High School, as the 2019 Indiana Middle School Principal of the Year for District 10

Clifford holds a Bachelor of Music Education from DePauw University and a 2012 master's degree in Educational Leadership and Supervision from Ball State University

Prior to becoming principal in 2013, Clifford worked as a music teacher and high school band director at Greensburg High School

As principal, Clifford restructured the master schedule for targeted academic intervention, piloted a one-to-one Digital Learning Initiative, and reintegrated the alternative school program into the middle school
