Indiana Senate resolution formally recognizing dyslexia as a language-based learning disability affecting reading, spelling, writing, and speaking skills in Hoosier youth

Acknowledges that 85% of individuals with a reading disability have dyslexia, according to current studies

Recognizes numerous Indiana dyslexia advocacy organizations including Decoding Dyslexia Indiana, Dyslexia Institute of Indiana, International Dyslexia Association Indiana Branch, and Children's Dyslexia Center

Directs the Secretary of the Senate to transmit copies of the resolution to CAST Washington County and the Washington County Community Foundation
