Indiana General Assembly honors Magistrate Judge Andre Gammage for his dedicated service to St. Joseph County.

Judge Gammage graduated from Valparaiso University and Valparaiso University School of Law, served as St. Joseph County Deputy Prosecuting Attorney, and managing partner for Law Office of Berger.

Served as St. Joseph Circuit Court Magistrate Judge presiding over Civil Protective Order Court from 2014 to 2021 and currently presides over Veterans Treatment Court assisting veterans with mental health and substance abuse issues.

Developed an expungement initiative in 2019 that has processed over 1,500 expungements in partnership with St. Joseph County Prosecutor's Office, University of Notre Dame Law School, and other local partners.

Provided 30 years of leadership and mentorship to youth, served on multiple state committees, faculty member at National Judicial College of Juvenile and Family Court Judges, and holds numerous recognitions including commendations from Alabama and South Bend Police Department.
