IN HB1018

Removes the requirement that school age child care grant applicants demonstrate ability to provide transportation to and from schools to their facility, effective July 1, 2026.

Adds a new rulemaking requirement for the division director to establish cost and expense standards specifically for transporting children to facilities where they do not attend school.

Retains all other existing grant eligibility requirements including safe physical environment, age-appropriate activities, staff standards, nutrition, and emergency health services.
