Indiana State Department of Health must collaborate with a national Alzheimer's disease and dementia organization to educate the public on signs/symptoms, personal risk factors, diagnosis and treatment options, and high-risk populations.

Additional required partners for public education include local health departments, the division of aging, employer wellness programs, health care providers, health insurers, and nonprofit/community organizations.

State department must partner with a national organization to train health care and human services providers on diagnosis, treatment, research advances, and care planning for Alzheimer's and dementia.

Alzheimer's and dementia educational information must be published on the state department's website.

State department may accept grants, services, and property from federal, public, and private entities and may seek federal waivers to maximize funding for these education efforts. Effective July 1, 2026.
