Exempts state educational institution degree programs primarily focused on emergency medical services from mandatory elimination provisions that apply to low-enrollment programs

Under existing law (IC 21-18-9-10.7), degree programs must be eliminated if average graduation numbers over 3 years fall below thresholds: 10 for associate, 15 for bachelor's, 7 for master's, and 3 for education specialist or doctorate programs

EMS degree programs would no longer need to request commission approval to continue operating even if they fall below these minimum graduation thresholds

Amends Indiana Code IC 21-18-9-10.7, which was added by P.L.213-2025

Effective date: July 1, 2026
