Students with disabilities under the Americans With Disabilities Act (42 U.S.C. 12102) may qualify for Twenty-First Century Scholarship awards without meeting full-time enrollment or 30 credit hour requirements, if their eligible institution has determined a reduced course load is appropriate

Eligible students with disabilities may petition the Commission for Higher Education to maintain scholarship eligibility while enrolled part-time and in good academic standing

Scholarship renewals for students with disabilities may extend up to 8 undergraduate academic years, compared to the standard 4 years for other recipients

Total scholarship awards for students with disabilities remain capped at the equivalent dollar amount of 4 years of standard full-time eligibility
