Adds the Ten Commandments to Indiana's list of 16 protected writings, documents, and records that may be read or posted in school buildings, classrooms, or at school events

Prohibits principals and teachers from reading the Ten Commandments aloud when students are present, while still permitting posting or display

Requires school libraries and media centers to maintain at least one copy of the Ten Commandments in their permanent collection

Protects students who reference the Ten Commandments in reports or work products from punishment or grade reduction

Effective date: July 1, 2026; passed House Education Committee 8-3
