Adopts the Uniform Recognition and Enforcement of Canadian Domestic Violence Protection Orders Act in Indiana, effective July 1, 2026

Requires law enforcement officers to enforce valid Canadian domestic violence protection orders as if they were Indiana-issued orders when probable cause exists that a violation occurred

Canadian protection orders are enforceable without prior registration or filing in Indiana; courts must accord full faith and credit to qualifying orders

Establishes enforceability criteria requiring the order to identify protected individuals and respondents, be valid and in effect, and ensure the respondent received notice and opportunity to be heard

Grants civil and criminal immunity to state agencies, law enforcement, prosecutors, and court officials acting in good faith to enforce or register Canadian domestic violence protection orders
