Public schools and charter schools participating in federally funded meal programs must post breakfast and lunch menus with complete ingredient lists on school websites beginning with the 2027-2028 school year

Schools may not serve, sell, or allow third-party vendors to sell foods or beverages containing 13 specified ingredients on school property during school days, including potassium bromate, propylparaben, titanium dioxide, artificial dyes (Yellow 5, Yellow 6, Blue 1, Blue 2, Green 3, Red 3, Red 40), BHT, TBHQ, and azodicarbonamide

Fundraising events may sell prohibited items if sales occur at least 30 minutes after the school day ends

Exemptions apply to vending machines not accessible to students and weekend events on school property

Parents retain the right to provide their own children with foods containing the listed ingredients on school days
