Adds a baccalaureate degree with accounting concentration as an alternative pathway to sit for the CPA exam, alongside the existing 120 semester hour requirement, effective July 1, 2026.

Establishes three pathways for initial CPA licensure effective January 1, 2027: a baccalaureate degree with accounting concentration, a baccalaureate degree with accounting concentration totaling 150 hours, or a post-baccalaureate degree with accounting concentration.

Removes the previous requirement that candidates for initial licensure must have both 150 semester hours AND a baccalaureate degree, allowing licensure with fewer total credit hours.

All educational programs must be from colleges or universities deemed acceptable by the board and include an accounting concentration or equivalent as determined appropriate by the board.
