All Indiana elections must use hand-marked paper ballots designed and made in Indiana, featuring distinctive watermarks and serial numbers, with mandatory hand counting beginning at 7 a.m. on election day and results announced the same evening

Early voting, vote centers, Internet voting, mass mail-in voting, ballot harvesting, and ballot drop boxes are prohibited; precincts are limited to 1,500 registered active voters

Absentee ballots are restricted to military members, individuals with disabilities, those required to work during poll hours, overseas voters, and voters 65 or older, with ballots due by noon on election day

Voter registration applications must include proof of citizenship and signature; digital IDs are not accepted for registration or voting; the statewide voter database must be reconciled monthly against federal databases including Social Security death records and noncitizen databases

Violations constitute a Class A misdemeanor with a 10-year loss of voting rights; the Attorney General must establish an Election Crimes Unit with statewide jurisdiction and a voter fraud hotline
