Allows graduates of foreign dental colleges or universities with doctorate-equivalent degrees in dental surgery or dental medicine to qualify for Indiana dental hygienist licensure, with required transcript submission and credential verification assessment

Authorizes the board to establish additional requirements for dentistry license applicants who have failed the licensing examination at least 3 times before allowing them to retake the exam

Expands approval options for nitrous oxide administration training courses to include programs approved by the board, in addition to those accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation

Requires respiratory care practitioner license applicants applying after December 31, 2027 to pass both portions of the registered respiratory therapist examination administered by the National Board for Respiratory Care

Repeals the existing state-administered respiratory care practitioner examination and updates related temporary permit and student permit provisions, effective July 1, 2026
