Circuit court clerks must post all campaign finance reports filed with county election boards on the clerk's, election board's, or county's website in PDF format within 7 days of the filing due date or actual filing date

Applies to candidates for local office, school board candidates, regular party committees, and political action committees that file at the county level

"Covered persons" (defined in existing law) may submit written requests to counties, municipalities, or townships to restrict public access to their home addresses in confidential documents

Local governments must establish processes to redact or restrict covered persons' home addresses within 5 days of receiving a request, including in public records requests
