Establishes the Real Property Assessment Task Force to review issues related to real property assessment in Indiana, with a report due to the General Assembly by November 1, 2026

Task force membership includes 8 legislative members (appointed by House and Senate leadership) plus 13 representatives from organizations including the Indiana Association of Realtors, Farm Bureau, county assessors, auditors, builders, bankers, manufacturers, and an academic expert

Required study topics include automated valuation model (AVM) systems used in other states, accuracy of current assessment methods, effectiveness of ratio studies, and implications of shifting from "market value in use" to "fair market value" standards

Task force must evaluate whether township assessors should be eliminated and whether county assessor functions should be transferred to county auditors

Effective upon passage, with the task force chapter expiring January 1, 2027; expenses paid from legislative council appropriations
