IN HB1338

Amends Indiana's existing law (IC 25-1-22-13) that prohibits physicians from providing or aiding in gender transition procedures for minors

Clarifies that the "aiding or abetting" prohibition does not prevent physicians from releasing a minor's health information to another practitioner providing care to that minor

Allows physicians to discuss a minor's medical history with other practitioners who are providing care to the minor

Effective date: July 1, 2026
