Urges the Indiana Department of Transportation to rename a portion of State Road 237 near Perry County Memorial Hospital as the "Sergeant Heather J. Glenn Memorial Highway"

Sergeant Heather J. Glenn served 20 years with the Tell City Police Department and was killed in the line of duty on July 3, 2023, while attempting to arrest a domestic violence suspect at Perry County Memorial Hospital

Glenn was born June 9, 1976, graduated from Tell City High School in 1994, and earned a criminal justice degree from Vincennes University before attending the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy

Passed the House 94-0 on January 12, 2026, and received unanimous support in both the House Roads and Transportation Committee (12-0) and Senate Homeland Security and Transportation Committee (6-0)

Requires the Principal Clerk of the House of Representatives to transmit copies of the resolution to the Commissioner of the Indiana Department of Transportation
