Congratulates Michelin North America, Inc. on the 65th anniversary of its BFGoodrich tire production facility in Fort Wayne, Indiana, which broke ground in 1960 and produced its first tire on September 20, 1961

Recognizes BFGoodrich Company's history, including its founding in 1870, manufacturing the first U.S. pneumatic tire in 1896, and creating the world's first radial all-terrain performance tire in 1976

Notes Michelin acquired BFGoodrich in 1990 and has maintained a demonstrated commitment to Fort Wayne since then

Acknowledges the facility currently employs more than 1,500 people and that Michelin has donated millions of dollars and volunteered tens of thousands of hours to support local communities

Directs the Principal Clerk of the House to transmit a copy of the resolution to the director of Michelin's BFGoodrich plant in Fort Wayne
