Indiana House of Representatives honors Representative Shane Lindauer upon his retirement at the end of the 2026 legislative session after nine years of service representing House District 63

Lindauer was appointed in 2017 to fill the seat vacated by Governor Mike Braun and served as Chair of the Natural Resources Committee and member of the Roads and Transportation Committee

Received Guardian of Small Business award from the National Federation of Independent Business for authoring legislation to promote local businesses

Prior to legislative service, served eight years in the Indiana and Missouri Army National Guards and four years on the Dubois County Council

Holds a Doctor of Chiropractic from Logan College of Chiropractic and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Supervision Technology from Indiana State University
