Indiana House of Representatives honors Cindy Hoye for nearly 40 years of service to the Indiana State Fair Commission, recognizing her planned retirement in March 2026

Hoye served as marketing director for 16 years before becoming executive director in 2004

Under her leadership, the commission completed major facility projects including the renovation of Corteva Coliseum and construction of the Indiana Farm Bureau Fall Creek Pavilion

Hoye helped attract national track and field events to Indianapolis and the fairgrounds, including NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships, Big Ten Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships, and the Hoosier State Relays

Hoye played a key role in expanding 4-H programming during her tenure
