State educational institutions with two-year graduate programs in mental or behavioral health must evaluate feasibility of restructuring programs for completion in one year (or five years when combined with a bachelor's degree)

By July 1, 2028, each state educational institution must offer at least one accelerated graduate program in fields including social work, clinical addiction counseling, mental health counseling, marriage and family therapy, school counseling, counseling, or psychology

Institutions must report program details to the Commission for Higher Education by November 1, 2028, with a follow-up report by November 1, 2032 including enrollment numbers, completion rates, and estimated student cost savings

Ivy Tech Community College and Vincennes University are exempt from these requirements

The chapter expires July 1, 2033, and takes effect July 1, 2026
