Requires governmental bodies holding individuals subject to federal immigration detainer requests to notify the judge, record the detainer in case files, comply with all detainer requests, and inform the individual they are being held pursuant to the detainer, effective July 1, 2026.

Prohibits employers from knowingly recruiting, hiring, or continuing to employ unauthorized aliens in Indiana, with penalties escalating from 5-day license suspension for first violations to permanent revocation of all operating authorizations for repeat offenders.

Authorizes the attorney general to defend law enforcement officers, governmental bodies, and postsecondary institutions sued for actions taken in compliance with federal immigration enforcement under IC 5-2-18.2.

Establishes civil penalties up to $10,000 for governmental bodies or postsecondary institutions that knowingly or intentionally restrict federal immigration law enforcement, with the attorney general authorized to seek injunctions.

Requires the Department of Correction to submit monthly reports to the state budget committee detailing money received from and spent on the ICE agreement with Miami Correctional Facility through December 31, 2027.
