Adds a new jury duty exemption for women who gave birth within the preceding 365 days, are currently breastfeeding, and wish to be exempted from service.

Persons age 75 or older may continue to request exemption from jury service by notifying the jury administrator.

Prospective jurors may defer their initial appearance one time for up to one year upon demonstrating hardship, extreme inconvenience, or necessity.

Effective July 1, 2026.
