Eliminates the statute of limitations for Level 3 felony rape (IC 35-42-4-1) and Level 3 felony child molesting (IC 35-42-4-3), allowing prosecution at any time after the offense occurs

Removes child molesting from the list of offenses that must be prosecuted before the victim turns 31 years old

Adds a new provision allowing prosecution of previously time-barred offenses if new DNA evidence, recordings, or confessions emerge under applicable extended limitation periods

Amends IC 35-41-4-2, Indiana's criminal statute of limitations law

Effective July 1, 2026
