Requires the Indiana Department of Agriculture to conduct a feasibility study on establishing community or urban microfarm zones statewide, effective July 1, 2026

Study must include a review of existing research, identification of zoning templates and best practices, and exploration of partnership opportunities with Purdue University cooperative extension service, local health departments, health care providers, and educational institutions

Department must submit a report to the General Assembly by December 1, 2027 with findings on whether urban microfarm zones could work in Indiana and options for future pilot programs or technical assistance

Report must include recommendations for safety and compatibility standards and future legislation to implement community or urban microfarm zones
