Indiana General Assembly celebrates the 20th anniversary of Hope Academy, a tuition-free public charter school that opened in 2006 for teens recovering from drug and alcohol addiction

Hope Academy is Indiana's only recovery high school and one of just 12 schools nationally accredited by the Association of Recovery Schools

Since 2006, the school has served over 800 students across 9 Indiana counties, with approximately 50 teens enrolling annually and over 200 graduates, 94% of whom were accepted into post-secondary programs

The school launched a Sustainability Campaign to strengthen academic and recovery programs, expand family supports, and secure long-term operations
