Indiana Senate resolution congratulating 12 high school juniors nominated to the Rising Stars of Indiana Class of 2026 from three schools: Chesterton High School, Portage High School, and Westville Middle/High School

Rising Stars of Indiana is a non-competitive recognition program administered by the Indiana Association of School Principals that honors high school juniors for exceptional academic achievement

Selection criteria includes enrollment in advanced classes, standardized test achievements, participation in extracurricular activities, leadership, and community service

Each high school may nominate up to four outstanding scholars during their junior year to increase visibility and scholarship opportunities

Secretary of the Senate directed to transmit copies of the resolution to all 12 named students
