Indiana Senate formally recognizes the service of the 425th Personnel Service Company, a U.S. Army Reserve administrative support unit activated during the Cold War Era

The 425th PSC was based in Indianapolis and deployed from Fort Benjamin Harrison to Saudi Arabia for Operation Desert Storm over 35 years ago, receiving the Meritorious Unit Citation for service from late 1990 to early 1991

The unit supported operations including the Gulf War, peacekeeping in the Balkans, and the Global War on Terror, with members earning Army Commendation Medals and achievement awards

Although now inactive, the 425th PSC continues participating in public events, parades, and veteran support programs in the Indianapolis community

The Secretary of the Senate is directed to transmit copies of the resolution to Denise Abdul-Rahman
