Prohibits registered sex offenders age 18 or older from entering school property or attending school activities if their underlying crime involved a victim under age 18

First violation is a severity level 6 person felony; second violation is a severity level 5 person felony; third or subsequent violation is a severity level 3 person felony

Defines "school property" as locations used by public school districts or nonpublic schools for K-12 instruction, attendance, or extracurricular activities, including preschool programs

Defines "school activity" as district or nonpublic school-sponsored events where K-12 or preschool students are primary participants or audience, including athletic events, dances, field trips, plays, and assemblies

Adds definitions for "nonpublic school" (private, nonprofit, or parochial schools with regular instruction at least four days per week, excluding homeschools, microschools, and schools with nine or fewer students)
