Private schools with 5+ state championships in the preceding 5 years must apply a multiplier factor to inflate their student attendance count for KSHSAA classification purposes, with factors of 1.15 (5-9 championships) or 1.3 (10+ championships)

Championship-triggered schools also receive additional multipliers based on geographic location (0.3 in Class 5A/6A areas, 0.15 in Class 3A/4A areas, 0 in Class 1A/2A areas) and socio-economic factors (0.15 if 20% or fewer students receive free/reduced lunch)

Private schools cannot be moved more than one classification level above their actual enrollment, and the multiplier cannot change football classifications between 6-person, 8-person, and 11-person formats

Schools that do not collect or report free/reduced lunch data are deemed to have 0% participation, resulting in the maximum socio-economic multiplier of 0.15

The multiplier provisions expire on June 30, 2030, and classification changes due to the multiplier are not appealable
