Transfers responsibility for preparing committee meeting minutes from the Legislative Research Department to the Division of Legislative Administrative Services

Legislative Administrative Services must now prepare minutes for all special, select, joint, and standing committee meetings, whether the legislature is in session or not

Minutes must document attendance of legislators, disposition of agenda items, tentative and final committee decisions, staff instructions, and other relevant matters

Legislative Research Department retains other staff services for committees including agenda preparation, meeting notifications, research, obtaining witnesses, and preparing interim and final reports

Amends K.S.A. 46-1210 and 46-1212a, with the act taking effect upon publication in the statute book
