Theft of livestock or implements of husbandry classified as a severity level 5, nonperson felony regardless of value, upgrading from current value-based penalties

"Livestock" defined as cattle, swine, sheep, goats, horses, mules, domesticated deer, and ratite family creatures (ostriches, emus, rheas), including carcasses, skins, or parts

"Implement of husbandry" defined by reference to K.S.A. 8-126 (farm equipment used in agricultural operations)

Property used in commission of livestock or farm equipment theft subject to forfeiture, including vehicles, aircraft, vessels, proceeds, and records
