Tenure at Kansas postsecondary institutions shall not create any entitlement, right, or property interest in a faculty member's current, ongoing, or future employment

The Kansas Board of Regents and all institutions are prohibited from defining, awarding, or recognizing tenure as a property interest or employment right

Existing tenure awards as of the effective date are retroactively stripped of any entitlement or property interest status

Institutions or the Board of Regents may revoke, limit, alter, or modify any benefits, processes, or preferences conferred by tenure at any time

Faculty members retain their otherwise constitutionally protected rights and interests under the bill
