Creates the anesthesiologist assistant licensure act in Kansas, establishing a new category of licensed healthcare providers who work under the direction and supervision of anesthesiologists

Anesthesiologist assistants must complete an approved education program, pass a board-approved examination, and obtain licensure from the State Board of Healing Arts with fees up to $200 for initial application and up to $150 for renewal

Licensed anesthesiologist assistants may perform anesthesia-related tasks including patient history collection, airway management, drug administration, and regional anesthesia procedures, but cannot prescribe medications or controlled substances

Supervising anesthesiologists must be physically present or immediately available in the same facility and may supervise up to four anesthesiologist assistants at one time

Establishes a five-member anesthesiologist assistant council (three licensed assistants appointed by the governor, one supervising anesthesiologist, and the Board president or designee) to advise the Board on implementing the act
