Theft of livestock (cattle or horses) or implements of husbandry (farm equipment) is classified as a severity level 5, nonperson felony regardless of the property's value

Property used in the commission of theft of livestock or farm equipment is subject to forfeiture, including conveyances, proceeds, and records used to facilitate the crime

"Livestock" definition is narrowed from the broader forfeiture statute definition (which included swine, sheep, goats, mules, deer, and ratites) to only cattle and horses for theft classification purposes

"Implement of husbandry" is defined by reference to K.S.A. 8-126, covering farm machinery and equipment
