Hospitals participating in the federal 340B drug pricing program must submit annual reports to the Kansas Department of Insurance starting January 1, 2027, detailing how program savings benefit their communities and fund services supporting community access to care.

Required reporting includes aggregated drug acquisition costs, payment amounts received for dispensed 340B drugs, payments made to contract pharmacies and third-party program managers, and the number of pricing units dispensed.

Hospitals must report detailed data at the national drug code level for their 50 most frequently dispensed 340B prescription drugs, broken down by payor type.

The Kansas Department of Insurance must publish individual hospital reports and an aggregate summary report on its publicly accessible website.

The Commissioner of Insurance must adopt implementing rules and regulations by January 1, 2027.
