Kansas residents may obtain PBS Kansas license plates for passenger vehicles or trucks under 20,000 pounds gross weight starting January 1, 2027

Logo use royalty payment ranges from $25 to $100 per plate, as determined by Kansas Public Telecommunications Service, Inc., paid to the county treasurer in addition to regular registration fees

Applications must be submitted at least 60 days before registration renewal date; plates are non-transferable between persons but may transfer from leased to purchased vehicles

Kansas Public Telecommunications Service, Inc. will design the plate with approval from the director of vehicles and authorize use of the organization's logo

Applicants must consent to release of motor vehicle record information (name, address, payment amount, plate number, vehicle type) to Kansas Public Telecommunications Service, Inc. and the state treasurer
