Increases annual transfers from the state general fund to the state water plan fund from $35 million to $60 million for fiscal years 2027 through 2030

Raises the annual transfer to the water technical assistance fund from $5.5 million to $15.5 million, and to the water projects grant fund from $12.5 million to $22.5 million

Extends the expiration date of the water technical assistance fund and water projects grant fund from July 1, 2028 to July 1, 2031

Increases the balance cap for the water technical assistance fund from $15 million to $36 million, and for the water projects grant fund from $35 million to $50 million, before excess funds are transferred out

Amends K.S.A. 2025 Supp. 82a-955, 82a-956, and 82a-957 relating to state water plan funding and water infrastructure project grants
