Wolf Creek is Kansas' only operational nuclear power plant, generating approximately 1,250 megawatts and providing 20.7% of the state's electricity and 36% of its emission-free electricity

The facility has produced more than 345 million megawatt hours of power and serves over 800,000 Kansas homes across 89 of the state's 105 counties

As of January 2025, Wolf Creek achieved over 10,000,000 safe work hours without a lost-time or OSHA-recordable incident

The plant contributes more than $165,000,000 in economic impact to Coffey County and surrounding areas through payroll, taxes, and purchases, and is licensed to operate until March 11, 2045
