Requires health insurers, HMOs, and medical service corporations to cover early refills of prescription topical eye medications used to treat chronic eye conditions, effective January 1, 2026

Allows refills to be requested before the end of the prescribed dosage period, but only after at least 75% of the predicted days of use have elapsed

Prescriber must have authorized refills on the original prescription, and early refill requests cannot exceed the total number of refills prescribed

Applies to individual and group health insurance policies delivered, issued, amended, or renewed on or after January 1, 2026

Amends K.S.A. 40-2,103 and 40-19c09 to incorporate this new coverage requirement into existing insurance regulations
