Eliminates all cost-sharing (deductibles, copayments, coinsurance) for diagnostic breast examinations used to evaluate abnormalities detected during screening or other exams, effective January 1, 2026

Eliminates cost-sharing for supplemental breast examinations (MRI or ultrasound) used to screen for breast cancer in individuals with no abnormality but who have personal/family history or risk factors

Applies to all individual and group health insurance policies, medical service plans, hospital service corporation contracts, fraternal benefit societies, and health maintenance organizations in Kansas

Covered examination types include diagnostic mammography, breast MRI, and breast ultrasound

Amends K.S.A. 40-2,103 and 40-19c09 to incorporate the new coverage requirements into existing insurance statutes
