Removes breastfeeding mothers from the mandatory jury service exclusion list under K.S.A. 43-158, where they were previously automatically excused with service postponed until breastfeeding ended

Adds breastfeeding mothers to the discretionary exclusion list under K.S.A. 43-159, allowing them to request a deferral rather than being automatically excluded

Requires courts or jury commissioners to inquire whether a breastfeeding mother wishes to defer service, with deferrals lasting at least one year if requested

Mandates reasonable accommodations for breastfeeding mothers who choose to serve on a jury

Amends K.S.A. 43-158 and 43-159, taking effect upon publication in the statute book
